ACCUiN APOE Allotyping Kit is designed using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technology to determine human apolipoprotein E (APOE) gene rs429358 and rs7412 single nucleotide polymorphisms in the fourth exon, and to derive the APOE allotype (ε2/ε3/ε4) combination. ACCUiN APOE Allotyping Kit also includes specific primers for amplifying human internal control genes (Internal control, IC) to ensure sample integrity of subjects. Through PCR technology to amplify test sample DNA, and using capillary electrophoresis analyzer to determine amplified fragments to determine sample APOE allotype combinations. This kit includes standard controls (APOE standard controls, APOE SCs) for monitoring the accuracy of the detection process and results, providing accurate APOE allotype combinations.
