Testing principle
ACCUiN Next Generation Deafness Gene Hotspot Panel is a qualitative test designed using multiplex polymerase chain reaction (Multiplex PCR) and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology to detect gene mutations in human GJB2, GJB3, GJB6, OTOF, SLC16A4 genes, and mitochondrial DNA in the test samples. ACCUiN Next Generation Deafness Gene Hotspot Panel is used to identify single nucleotide variants (SNVs), multi-nucleotide variants (MNVs), insertions, deletions, and insertion/deletion (INDELs) mutations in specific regions of the following genes: GJB2 (NM_004004), GJB3 (NM_024009), GJB6 (NM_001110219), OTOF (NM_194248), SLC16A4 (NM_000441), and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA).
ACCUiN Next Generation Deafness Gene Hotspot Panel has undergone quality validation and functional verification to ensure performance stability and reproducibility. ACCUiN Next Generation Deafness Gene Hotspot Panel accommodates at least 48 testing reactions.
